DIY Doily Snowflake Necklace

Holy huge snowflake necklace!  I took a handful of stiffly starched doilies to make a goofy necklace for the holidays.

Supplies:
*3 small starched doilies
*package of small metal jewelry rings
*package of metal jewelry chain
*needle nose pliers

The supplies can be split, so go in with a friend when purchasing the materials.

This can be a kid friendly project if you get bigger rings because the tiny rings are just too difficult for little hands to handle.

Connect the doilies together on the corners with the metal rings.  Next and last step is to attach the desired length of chain that will allow the necklace to easily slip over the head.

This is a great holiday party project with girlfriends.  The best part is that it takes less than 15 minutes to make, allowing tons of time for toasting!  This necklace doesn't have to be silly.  You can tone down the snowflake size to create a more petite necklace that would pair really nice with a pretty sweater or long t-shirt and leggings.

This wild outfit was for the Holiday Sweater Day at work.  I went big, bold and beautiful.  Was I not absolutely retro, gorgeous goodwill!  What does your holiday swag say about you, classy, tacky, goofy, kid friendly?

Love-Jessie
