Saving your tomato crop for later


It feels like tomatoes take their sweet time to ripen and then all of a sudden it's raining spaghetti and meatballs!! Oh god, I wish it sometime rained spaghetti and meatballs.  Could you imagine, just walk outside with a bucket for dinner!


Blanching and freezing tomatoes solves the issue of not letting a single tomato go to waste but not having enough tomatoes at once to can.


After a frozen stockpile of tomatoes you can easily whip up salsas, sauces and jellies at your convenience.  Easy peasy with a little preservation and self sufficiency!
